:: I Will Always Love You Whitney ::

Assalamualaikum to all my readers.

Wow! Look at the date. It's been awhile since I last updated my blog with stuff. I was so not in the mood to blog nowadays but something happened today that makes me, kinda like, okay I have to blog about this. As you guys aware, the world has lost another true legend, inspirational singer, Whitney Houston. She passed away at the age of 48 at her hotel room in Beverly Hills, LA.

Even though my interest into her is not as huge as I have into names like Celine Dion and Mariah Carey but it is no doubt that she is an inspiration to a lot of singers. She was one of the world's best-selling artists, with her powerful, poignant renditions of her greatest hits like, 'Saving All My Love For You', 'I Will Always Love You' and 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody'.

~ R.I.P. Whitney Houston 1963-2012 ~

Details about her death are still being investigated. You guys can click at these links to read more about this sad news.

~ You will be missed dearly ~

:: The rising stars ::

Assalamualaikum to all my readers.

Sorry guys. Busy schedule is hitting me again. One month left before final exam come. At this point, what is suppose to have in every students mind is all the notes from all the subjects that I have learned in this semester. Unfortunately, that's not happening to me. I'm still floating somewhere in the sky, unaware that the final exam is just around the corner.

It's been a long time since I feel this busy and pack with so many things to do, that I want my weekend to come faster. A couple of weeks ago I went to Malacca for a program organised by UiTM together with Yayasan Bank Rakyat. Will talk about that later because I don't have much time to spend here. As for your ear candy, I leave y'all with a bunch of current songs covered by YouTube stars. Y'all can go and check their YouTube channels by clicking at their names below the video. Enjoy! :)

:: One Direction is going the right direction ::

Salam to all my readers.

The moment that I have been waiting for has finally arrived. The debut album is out! Wait, whose album!? Well, if you're a fan of this blog, which I doubt if there's any, must know the fact that I'm so into this band. They are a made-up group, formed by four judges in a reality singing competition that has completely change each of the members' lives. Their personality and their music has taken the world, and the girls, by storm. Listening to the band's first album reminded me of Westlife and Backstreet Boys during their early times.

The band that I'm talking about here is non other than ONE DIRECTION, consisting of members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. The band's first album is entitled Up All Night and  some reviews has been given to the album, all positive, complementing the group's carefree, youthful lyrics and pop sensibility. I am 100% sure that all 1D fans are gonna love it coz I think they have made Simon Cowell proud.

Y'all can check out the track listing for the CD below:

  1. What Makes You Beautiful
  2. Gotta Be You
  3. One Thing
  4. More Than This
  5. Up All Night
  6. I Wish
  7. Tell Me A Lie
  8. Taken
  9. I Want
  10. Everything About You
  11. Same Mistakes
  12. Save You Tonight
  13. Stole My Heart
I have gone through all the songs and I was amazed at how clever they are on choosing the right songs and to make sure that this album doesn't across the youthful boundary. I am really pleased with the song choice and can't really pick a favorite.

To all 1D fans, what are you waiting for? Go grab this album at the music stores near you.

:: AF students can't sing English songs?? ::

Salam to all my readers.

I am a big fan of reality TV singing competition. I watch shows like X-Factor (XF), American Idol (AI), One in a Million (OIAM), Mentor and Akademi Fantasia (AF). Whatever you say folks but these kinda shows really got me glued in front of the TV and there was a moment where I talked to myself and went like, "I think I was born to be in the industry, you know, whether as a singer, songwriter or producer." Hahaha. What a funny thought is that.

Okay, I'm not sitting in front of my lappy just to talk about my unaccomplished desire of becoming someone in a entertainment industry or fashion industry (wth!) but there is another topic worth to talk about. If you watch AF, regardless of any season, there will be a time when the students are gonna be tested with an English song. I notice something 'unhealthy' going on, I don't know if you guys did too. Majority of the students will be like kinda frustrated or scared whenever they get English song to be sang. Some of them will just cry or express their anxiety regarding the song. Have you ever notice that??

Well, in my opinion, there is no reason to be like that coz we've been taught English since we were in standard one and the song doesn't require them to give out a speech or to talk in front of the audience in English, they just need to sing the lyrics out in rhythm. Basically that is what they do right, singing. You don't necessarily have to be 100% grammatically perfect to sing an English song. The words are there, written on the paper and all they need to do is just practice the pronunciation that's all. They even have Puan Fatimah Abu Bakar to help them with that so, no point to be frustrated or go in front of the 'talking' camera and say that you don't like the song and etc. This kinda shit is really not acceptable.

~ I praise Farhan for her ability to sing English song perfecly ~

~ He sounded so bad when he sang in English during one of the concert in AF3 ~

This incident happen to every season of AF. Even I remember how scared Mawi was when he received an English song entitled 'Beautiful Maria'. I'm sure a lot of AF fans will go against me on this one but in order to become a versatile and a good singer, being able to sing in English is a must! Do not spit on me for telling you the truth. The students should be ready to uptake whatever songs that they are given, no matter what language it would be.

Last but not least, happy holidays guys! Ciao!

:: Justin Bieber's Concert ::

Salam to all my readers.

Beliebers were going crazy since the last two days. Why? Do you know what 'Beliebers' are? A bunch of Justin Bieber's fans and they call themselves 'Beliebers'. Well, I don't know whether I'm one of the Beliebers or not but I'm not embarrass to come up front and say, 'I like Justin Bieber!!".

Hahaha. Ok, now you know my dark little secret. Some people say he can't really sing and looks like a girl. We can't argue on the looks part because that is what God had given him, an adorable face that can melt most of the teenagers' heart nowadays. Go blame God la instead of him. The singing part, hurmm, how should I say this. Okay, he may not possess a big and powerful voice, that is so obvious but he knows how to perform and how to produce great and interesting songs so, I think I have caught up in this phenomenon. Haha.

Okay, move on to the main point of this entry. Like you all know, JB had performed here in his concert live in Malaysia and this was why all the Beliebers were going crazy for the past two days. I'm not rich. Can't afford the ticket so, I just wait for any blogger who went to JB concert to make an entry out of the experience and upload the pictures they have taken. Note this, I am one of his fan, I didn't get the chance to go to his concert but I didn't talk bad about him or pretend not to like him. I read a status posted by my friend on her status saying that "Sape-sape yang pergi tengok konsert JB tu, sume tak semayang Maghrib dengan Isyak." Later on she posted this, "Apelah yang orang minat sangat nak tengok konsert JB tu. Bodoh!".

~ Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez ~

~ Sweet! ~

Firstly I want to say, I know how much she adores Justin Bieber and I know that she wants to go to his concert but I think she is being a plastic while writing the status. Come on, don't be fake. You like him but then you talk bad about the people who go to the concert just because you are so poor that you can't afford the ticket. If she was to go to the concert, I bet she wouldn't post that stupid shit. She was faking herself and that is something that I can't endure. Is it embarrass to admit that you missed out the concert and wish all the people there to have fun? Don't talk bad about the people, it's you who people should talk bad about because you being fake make people who go there like a bad guy. Urghh.

~ JB performing ~

My advice here. Don't be fake. That's all. Oh by the way, I hope Selena stays with him forever. I don't know, they look cute together. She is super cute and even though she's older than JB, doesn't that mean she cannot be his girlfriend. Hahaha. I sounded like a JB maniac fan here. LOL. Okay lah guys, until then. Ciao!

:: Judiene's Hitz ::

Salam to all my readers.

Thanks to those who have sending their soothing words to comfort me, either via blog comments or via facebook, I really appreciate it. I know it is kind of girlish to whining and talking about stuff that I wrote in my previous entry but you guys made me feel like I'm not alone. Thanks again. I hope I could start all over again and forget about the past, if God willing.

Okay, lets change the topic shall we? Because I have lots of things to do today before tomorrow as I will be back to Puncak Alam by tomorrow morning so I'm gonna keep this entry short and simple. I have a list of addictive songs I want to share with guys. There are new and old songs, all mix together and become one hits called Judiene's Hitz. Haha. The songs that are included in Judiene's Hitz are listed below. I don't know about you guys but I find these songs so soothing and relaxing. Take a look.

  1. Lionel Richie - Hello
  2. Lady Gaga - Summerboy
  3. Crystal Bowersox - Farmer's Daughter
  4. Shane Filan - Beautiful In White
  5. Jamie Scott and The Town - When Will I See Your Face Again
  6. Shayne Ward - Until You
  7. Mandy Moore - Extraordinary
  8. Paloma Faith - New York
  9. Nicole Scherzinger - Poison
  10. Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath
  11. Leon Jackson - Creative
  12. Joe Brooks - Superman
  13. A1 - Don't Wanna Lose You Again
If you notice, I don't list down songs from my favorite singer David Archuleta and Celine Dion because to me, all of their songs are great! Haha. Anyway, I hope you guys like these songs and I highly recommended you all to try listen to them. This is apart of who I am in music.

:: more on David Archuleta ::

Salam to all my readers

A lil bit update of David Archuleta here. As you all know, 'Something 'bout Love' was his first single from his sophomore album, The Other Side of Down. It is a catchy with incredible hook and great production. It has radio hit potential, so David's team was not wrong when they chose the song as his first single.

Now, in early September, David had announced that 'Elevator' is gonna be his second single. The song is great too. Haha. Ok, lets be honest. I thought it was kinda a kiddy song when I first listened to it. But it totally changed my perception and after a few subsequent listen, I think it's catchy, fun and it feels like a little roller coster song. Hahaha. Or is it just me?? Whatever.

David also revealed that the third song, entitled 'Falling Star' would be released on October 28. I love this song so much, in fact it is one of my favourite songs in his sophomore album. But all songs are great and nice actually so, no need to list which is favourite and which is not. This song, everytime I listen to it, I can easily picture this track as part of TV series' or movie soundtracks. The melody and the production of this song is so lovely. Not to mention the lyric. Oh oh, you gotta check out his falsetto at the end of this so. Lovely!

Roughly said, it doesn't matter what song become the single because we all gonna love it. Just get his album and believe me, it's worth your money!

:: Half of My Heart ::

Salam to all my readers

I'm suppose to study CTU subject for my final exam this Tuesday but here I am, typing the keyboard and updating my blog. Well, you can blame me. Go out and ask all students who take CTU553 subject. Sure they will tell you how boring it is to finish the whole topics. It's like reading a BTN book or something about nationality and history.

OK, lets not talk about the boring stuff, would we?? At this moment, I'm sooooo addicted to this song, from John Mayer called Half of My Heart. The melody is so peaceful to hear, it's like you're standing at the beach, alone, while looking at the serene. Love the feeling. Take your time listening to this song and I bet you all would like it. Owh, it's a country song by the way.

I was born in the arms of imaginary friends
Free to roam, made a home out of everywhere I've been
Then you come crashing in, like the realest thing
Trying my best to understand all that your love can bring

Oh half of my heart's got a grip on the situation
Half of my heart takes time
Half of my heart's got a right mind to tell you
That I can't keep loving you
Oh, with half of my heart

I was made to believe i'd never love somebody else
I made a plan, stay the man who can only love himself
Lonely was the song I sang, 'til the day you came
Showing me a better way and all that my love can bring

Oh half of my heart's got a grip on the situation
Half of my heart takes time
Half of my heart's got a right mind to tell you
That I can't keep loving you
Oh, with half of my heart
With half of my heart

Your faith is strong
But I can only fall short for so long
Time will hold, later on
You will hate that I never gave more to you than half of my heart
But I can't stop loving you
But I can't stop loving you
But I can't stop loving you with half of my...

Half of my heart
Half of my heart

Half of my heart's got a real good imagination
Half of my heart's got you
Half of my heart's got a right mind to tell you
That half of my heart won't do

Half of my heart is a shotgun wedding to a bride with a paper ring
And half of my heart is the part of a man who's never really loved anything

Half of my heart
Half of my heart
Half of my heart
Half of my heart
Half of my heart
Half of my heart

p/s ~ If you notice, Taylor Swift contributed her voice in this song, but she just sang two lines. huhu. I wish she involves more.

:: Fantasia - Back To Me ::

Salam to all my readers

It's quite late to post about this album but I found it wasted to not telling you people out there about this so-called the best R&B album of the year.

Entitled Back To Me, a brand new album from the third winner of American Idol, Fantasia is filled with R&B, soulful and gospel-rooted like songs. I didn't like few of the songs at first but after taking time listen to this album over and over again, they are not bad actually. Let's take a look at the tracks.

  1. I'm Doin' Me
  2. Bittersweet
  3. Man of The House
  4. Who's Been Lovin' You
  5. Collard Greens and Cornbread
  6. Teach Me
  7. Move On Me
  8. Trust Me
  9. The Thrill Is Gone
  10. Falling In Love Tonight
  11. Even Angels
  12. I'm Here

I like Fantasia since American Idol and to me she has this unique vocals that make this album acceptable, no matter what people say about it. Some magazines quoted 'Back To Me' is an example of a great singer ruined by poor song choices. Yeah, I admit that most of her songs are 'heavy' and not aimed for teenagers who like Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus kinda songs but it suits my taste and I really like it.

So far, my favorites are all except I'm Here and The Thrill Is Gone. All the songs are nice. I enjoy listen to all of it but the two that I just mentioned just now to me, not really show her ability to embed her vocals with raw emotion. I'm proud to be her fan coz she has truly blossomed into quite the diva. 'Back To Me' has Fantasia back at her best, despite all the controversy shrouding her life.

p/s ~ try listen to 'Man of The House', 'Even Angels', 'I'm Doin' Me' and 'Falling In Love Tonight'.

:: The Other Side of Down ::

Salam to all my readers

I feel soooo excited and satisfied today. Why? Because after one long year of waiting, finally I manage to get my hand on David Archuleta's brand new album, The Other Side of Down. I was hesitated to buy at first, thinking of the expensive price but thanks to Miss Rosie for the advices, I have made my decision to buy it. Hahaha. There's no turning back after I walked out of the music store.

I have already listened to the songs in the album and just like his previous album, all songs are acceptable and current, which suit his bubbly personality and his kinda matured voice. I like the fact that he changed his hairstyle, which make him looks more grown up. And I love what he wears in his cover photoshoot, its like vintage meets teeny-bopper kinda thing. Ok, enough with his appearance, let's take a look at the tracks in his album.

  • The Other Side of Down
  • Something 'Bout Love
  • Elevator
  • Stomping The Roses
  • Who I Am
  • Falling Stars
  • Parachutes and Airplanes
  • Look Around
  • Good Place
  • Complain
  • Things Are Gonna Get Better
  • My Kind of Perfect
As you already know, his first single from this album is Something 'Bout Love. The second single will be Elevator. Be patient and keep your ear fix to the radio to make sure you don't miss it when the second single played. If you are not patient enough, just simply go to any music stores near you and purchase it, just like I did!

Trust me, it will be worth your money. To all David's fans out there, you don't need my word, aren't you? OK, now I can strike this out of my list. Next thing is, I hope that there's gonna be a concert or tour and he will come to Malaysia again! This time, i try not to miss it.

:: Crystal Bowersox Weds ::

Salam to all my readers

The first runner-up of American Idol Season 9 (AI9) finally tied the knot with her long-time friend, Brian Walker, also a musician. The couples had their wonderful and glorious moments at Uncommon Ground, a Chicago restaurant, where they first met while performing at an Open Mic Night. Guest like finalist from AI9, Didi Benami and actor Lance Barber.

Back when she was in AI, she was quoted as saying that her then-boyfriend, Tony Kusian, whom she breaks up with just before the AI finale starts, is not man up yet and he will be soon man up but unfortunately for him, Crystal is not keen on waiting for that time to come. The break up seem didn't affect Crystal's life that much and she is now waiting to record her post-idol album anytime soon.

And to the delight of Lee Dewyze's fans, the AI9 winner will be releasing his debut album, titled Live It Up on November 16 but details and news about the album is already been leaked. Lee's album is expected to be engaging blend of rootsy pop, rock and folk, anchored by DeWyze's soulful, rough-edged voice. The album will be preceded by a single of a same name, which will be premiered on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this coming Wednesday.

“I grew up listening to Simon & Garfunkel, The Mamas & the Papas, Cat Stevens, and Kris Kristofferson. I love hard-edged vocals over pretty melodies — that’s what I’m about. I really admire guys like Dave Matthews and Ray LaMontagne, and to now be on the same record label as them — it just blows my mind.”

:: for the rest of my life ::

Salam to all my readers

Yesterday i listen to Maher Zain hit, entitled For The Rest Of My Life and gosh, it is so good. i keep clicking the 'replay' button over and over again. the melody is suit for divinity-religious kinda song. and the lyric, stunning! it's like talking to you loved ones and promise her/him than you are gonna stay by their side. Maher Zain is so creative, he changed the meaning of 'lover' from what we understand as human to the one and only, Allah SWT.

i have listened to all of his songs and all i can say, brilliant! he is so good. but as great as he is, ermm, i don't know, is it me or he kinda sounded like Kris Allen at certain point of his voice. sometimes i thought i was listening to Kris Allen. huhu. it just my opinion. :)

:: something 'bout love ::

Salam to all my readers

finally, David's new music video is released. boy, he looks fresh and grown up. boy, the jacket he wore in this video is so cool and vintage and nice. ohh ohh, his hairdo. love his new hairdo. suit him perfectly.

although he just lip-sync through the entire video and no acting at all, but still i love it, because the people portrayed on the video are all smiling and after all, it's something about love.

p/s ~ David, if you happen to read this (i'll be going crazy if he really read my crap) i urge you to come down here and do a big-scale concert. huhuhuu~~

:: there's still hope! ::

Salam to all my readers

you know what, i am supposedly to start my new semester of degree today, but i am stuck here at home instead. they say the last date for confirmation that i am not going to further my study is on July 13. after that date, i am officially dead!

i am not whining or anything but i really need this sooooo bad. i think whoever in my situation right now, will be extremely grateful if God just give us the second chance. i mean i kinda know how it feels seeing all your mates packing their things and get ready to start a new sem, a new life in campus. and what do i do? just sitting around and watch them have all the fun and post how good their life there up on their facebook.

someone said to me that maybe God has different plan for you. maybe He wants you to feel the disappointment first, before embracing the sweetness of life, which is what i have been waiting for in the nearest time. i don't want to be left behind, and see everybody else succeed in whatever they are doing. i want to be there too. but my path is seem away from me, nowhere to be found.

i try not to think about it coz it hurts. yeah, it does. funny eh how such thoughts can make someone feel insecure of his own future. and listening to a bunch of new songs i think help me to keep my mind away from that nasty thoughts. currently California Gurls by Katy Perry is playing. love this song. owh yeah, David Archuleta will be releasing his brand new single from his second album on July 13. can't wait!

back to the point, whatever it is, there is still hope, and hope is the reason i am breathing right now.

:: Lee is the new American Idol - a little review ::

Salam to all my readers

finally, American has chosen Lee DeWyze as their new American Idol, which in my opinion shouldn't have won the show, coz, if you see the top 2 performances, it was clearly that mamasox has better chances of winning the show, but what to do, it's american who decide, not people around the world. i'm quite frustrated actually. hope crystal find my blog. hahaha.

to me, Lee's performances in top 2 were just OK, nothing different and most importantly nothing special. i prefer if fellow judges choose 'Hallelujah' to be sung in the top 2 show. see what Lee did with the song in top 3 show. fantastic!
you know what, i read a music blog on Yahoo! and here what the blogger said on why Crystal can't win American Idol.
Season 9 on "American Idol" was supposed to be a girls' season. Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi, and even Simon Cowell all authoritatively decreed it so. Promising quirky-girl contestants like Lilly Scott, Katelyn Epperley, Janell Wheeler, Lacey Brown, and Didi Benami were all hyped early on as ones to watch and ones to beat. At one point, a Crystal Bowersox/Siobhan Magnus final showdown seemed quite likely. But sadly, "AI9" hasn't quite panned out in the females' favor. Most of the aforementioned girls all left the competition shockingly prematurely--including Siobhan, one of this season's most interesting, unique, and talented contestants. Now only one female, Crystal, remains in the competition, and despite her popularity, I fear she won't win this season. Season 9 will probably be just another boys' club, after all. I predict Lee DeWyze is going to win in the end, and this makes me sad.
and the rest you can read it by clicking here..

and yeah, if it's based on the performances, Crystal absolutely was the brighter star on that night. i've been rooting for her all season long, and tonight she proved me right. all her performances including the sultry 'Black Velvet' were a sign that she's gonna win this whole thing. but then, the coronation song kinda took all the feeling away from me. i mean, it's a low-key song, i expect something like 'A Moment Like This' or 'I Believe' but it wasn't.

oh yeah! the finale was the emotional finale ever, with the tribute to Simon and Paula, full of surprises and not to mention all idols like the fresh-looking Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia and Ruben Studard and previous contestants were there (except for David Cook and several other contestants). i'm quite sure there's gonna be a tribute from the idols and see, my prediction was right. and Paula looks very sweet that night! talking about her lovechild with Simon, that really brought back memories from previous seasons when they were working together.

for more info and stories about American Idol, just click
here. whatever the result is, Crystal is a star with or without American Idol. What America saw that night was a real performer who can own the stage. Regardless of the voting outcome, we'll be hearing big things from her soon. she is sooo Crystal-clear.

:: the secret life of bees ::

Salam to all my reader

i just finish watched a movie entitled 'The Secret Life of Bees', directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood on 2008. Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys are among who stars in the movie. well i'm not gonna write the synopsis here coz 2 pages or 3 won't be enough. wanna read more about the movie just click here.

what i really love about this movie is bcoz they got Queen Latifah in it. i enjoy watching her comedy character in all previous movies of her like Mad Money, Beauty Shop, Bringing Down The House, Valentine's Day and other box-office movies but not in this movie. she played a different character in this one, a soulful and motherly character.

it's good to see a movie which bring up a theme of family love and love to people regardless of the skin color and what race you are. Dakota Fanning plays a white girl, raised up by the black women, who used to be her mother's nanny when she was a little kid. she runs away from her abusive father and follows her nanny, Jennifer Hudson, and together they go to a small town where they meet this loving and caring family comprises of Latifah, Alicia Keys and Sophie Okenedo. the movie is set in small town of South Carolina, in 1964.

the love theme is very touching to me. i mean the love among family members is what people are lacking nowadays. people don't really see this as a important thing thus they take it for granted. all they can think of is they got someone who love them, who is not from their family and it's enough. no, it's not enough. if your lover ditch you one day, who would you turn to if not your family? you guys should see the movie to see what i'm getting into.

oh btw, i suggest you guys to listen to these song. Save Me and Yesterday, both from Toni Braxton. kinda love the melody. these are brand new songs from Toni Braxton, who became famous with Un-break My Heart. and also songs from Charice called In Love So Deep, Nothing, Note To God and Pyramid. oh oh, Broken-Hearted Girl from Beyonce. ok, all checked, nothing miss. =)

:: song of memories ::

Salam to all my readers

i think it's true when people says that a certain song can bring a certain memory or meaning to certain people. i mean whenever you hear this song, its remind you to someone or to a memory that you'll never forget. i never had one, not until i entered matriculation and met some good people there.

i was there for about 1 month and a half coz after that i withdrew from the institution to further my study in UiTM Shah Alam. i still remember, we will study together in our cute cubicle while listening to radio. at that time, Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry and Gwen Stefani's 4 In The Morning and Beyonce's Irreplaceable was a big hit. i listened to these songs almost everyday there and that is why up till now, flash of memory will come to my mind everytime i listen to these songs. it's like watching my own music video of my memories with the songs as the background music.

~ sorry guys, i only have this picture ;P ~

being there had taught me a lot about life and how to handle myself among strangers, although it just a month and a half. i never thought it would be a nice thing to remember but i was completely wrong. and these songs that i stated above really made it nicer.

ohh one more thing. do you know Backstreet Boys' Chapter One album? they released it back in 2002. i was just entered a hostel world at that time and i remembered bought the album coz i didn't have anything to listen to. i wasn't into mp3 at that time so my dad bought me a walkman instead. every night before i go to sleep, i'll listen to it until it stops. songs like Drowning, Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely and More Than That is my favorite and it'll remind me to my hard times living in hostel with me missing my family every single day.

so yes, i believe that song and memory can go together. it's funny how a song can make someone cry, or smile widely thinking about their memories.

wow, finally it's all come down this finale of X-Factor 2009. Joe McElderry, Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs. i've watched all the performances via YouTube and the best part was when the host announces the winner of the singing competition. yes, it was Joe McElderry! yay!

at first, i thought it's gonna be Olly Murs but thank god he didn't make it. he's undoubtly one of the best singer in the competition but i think the viewers knows who's best to win. he's finale single, The Climb, which Miley Cyrus made popular, sure gonna sell like hot cakes.

:: to laugh or to cry?? ::

Salam to all my reader

when i first saw the cover album of the runner-up of American Idol 8, Adam Lambert, i gasped and i thought it was a joke, or at least an unofficial cover of his album. but it turns out that the cover is really the official one and i don't know whether to laugh, to cry or to amaze. apparently, Adam wasn't kidding when he once told press in US that his debut album would sound "as if a '70s time-capsule blasted off into space and you're watching it through a holographic filter" coz For Your Entertainment is gonna look and sound like it.

~ Adam Lambert cover album ~

some say that the cover look very much like him, you know, the glamrock thing plus the eye liner and they would really like this cover. while the other say that this is the worst cover ever done by the Idol alum and they would be embarrassed to carry this cover up to the cash register. if you guys ask me, hmmm, apart of me love it and the other part just can't accept it. but who cares about the cover seriously, if the songs are all good, then why not to love it, right?? well, here are the tracks :
  1. Music Again
  2. For Your Entertainment
  3. Whataya Want From Me
  4. Strut
  5. Soaked
  6. Sure Fire Winners
  7. A Loaded Smile
  8. If I Had You
  9. Pick You Up
  10. Fever
  11. Sleepwalker
  12. Aftermath
  13. Broken Opens
  14. Time For Miracles (2012 OST)
i already watched he performed the For Your Entertainment song at American Music Awards 2009 and to me, it was a flawless and amazing performance and i thought he did a wonderful job. i'm don't know much about music but that's all i've got to say about that. althought there was a slight controversy regarding the man-to-man kissing but that doesn't seem bother the fans. check out his performance by clicking here.

owh, btw, i'm so frustrated that David Archuleta didn't make it into the Best New Artist category in Grammy Award this year but the other david did. i mean David Cook of course and i hope he's gonna win.

~ both of them are great! ~
