:: Mom's cooking ::

Assalamualaikum to all my readers.

First of all, I wanna wish Happy Aidil Adha to all Muslims and my readers. As you all know, I'm already at peace, typing this entry from the comfort of my bed. The other day's journey was a bit of a challenge for me because I woke up at 6 am and had to stay awake for the rest of the day until I reached home. And I have reached home safely. I had doubted my driving skills but judging from the other day, I think I have improved a lot. Kudos to myself! :)

Well, there is no place like home. Same goes to mom's cooking. Everything that my mom touches turn into something tasty and delicious which the reason why we can't resist whatever she makes. So, the other day when I arrived, she was busy making 6 Caramel Cakes for her loyal customers. Because she knew that I hadn't tasted her new recipe, so she had made one extra cake. I'm not bragging or anything but she didn't get so many orders for nothing. This is what Caramel Cake looks like.

~ Caramel Cake ~

My mom is a type of woman who is not scared to try new recipes online and whenever she got it all wrong, she will try again and again until she satisfies with the result. Usually if people try something new and it doesn't happen to be like what they expected, their enthusiasm will drop and they will stop making what they are making. This doesn't happen to my mom and sometimes, I wonder why I don't inherit this good gene. At least I can use it in my study.

~ I also got to eat this. She bought it during her trip to Cameron Highland last few weeks. ~

~ Dried strawberry ~

I think this is all for now. See you next time with more exciting stories. Ciao!

:: Two Caucasian females and a Malay lady ::

Assalamualaikum to all my readers.

I have arrived here, at my house, in Puncak Alam yesterday and I'm still can't get over the fact that my 4 months holiday is over. Now that I'm here first, I think my housemates expect me to clean up the house and stuff but nahh, I'm just gonna wait for everyone to come. Haha.

Actually I have a funny story to share with you guys. Yesterday, we stopped at Gua Musang R&R for breakfast and while I was checking out the stalls there, I saw a group of Mat Salleh tourist arrived with their Malay driver. I didn't pay a lot of attention to them coz my stomach was grumbling with hunger. So I sat on a table and I saw the tourists walked in and discussing something among them. I think they were discussing on what they want to eat or they didn't know most of the food served at the R&R. The food were typical Malay food so I think they were having problem deciding on what to eat.

 ~ taken from Google ~

Suddenly, two females from the group came to the stall where I bought my breakfast and they were looking at a steamer full of kuih pau with so many different flavors. So they called out the stallholder and a lady came hurriedly towards them, looking a little uneasy. From the table I sat on, I could see that the two Minah Salleh was trying to buy the kuih pau but they didn't know what was the flavor as it was written in Malay. I pitied the lady coz she looked very uncomfortable, trying to explain the meaning of the flavor in English. She called for help from her friends who was cooking inside the pantry but she refused to go out. An old man sitting near my table even made fun of her saying, "Dio gi sekoloh agamo, dop reti kecek Inggerih dio tu (She went to the religious school so she can't speak English),".

I was still eating my breakfast, i couldn't get up to help so my dad came to her rescue. He explained to the two ladies about the flavor of the kuih pau and other dishes that were served at the stall. The Malay lady looked a little embarrass but she could do nothing to help. Me and my sister couldn't stop laughing. We weren't laughing at the lack of capability of the lady to speak English but the situation and the way the two Minah Salleh trying to understand what was being told by the Malay lady that made us laugh. Honestly, I pitied the lady. As a matter of fact, it's not nice to make fun of a person's incapability.

:: The bond ::

Assalamualaikum to all my readers.

Well, it's been a while since I posted my last entry which was, I don't know, a week ago. I purposely abstained myself from updating my blog because I didn't really get inspired to write and I felt that I would produce an entah ape-ape entry if I do so. But now I'm back with my a lot of stuffs that I wanna share with you guys my readers. Oh, speaking of readers, I don't know if my blog is still relevant, that people still want to read what I write. But I choose to write regardless.

I'm sure that most of us are still in the raya mode so it'll be good if I write something that has to do with my raya celebration this year. Like usual, me and my family went back to Penang to celebrate our raya. My mom is from Penang, if any of you wonder. Penang has always been one of the best place to celebrate raya because my granny's house is located right in front of the padi fields which make me adore the view and the second thing is, the food. The food always satisfy my taste buds. Whenever we go back to Penang, I will make my aunty find nasi lemak for breakfast, mee curry, bihun soup, mee kuah and above all, laksa. I'm not going back to Kelantan without eating all these delicious food.

It was time to visit my relatives here in Kelantan so, we went home after spending three exciting days celebrating Eid in Penang. When I was visiting them, I realized that it's hard to maintain a relationship with your cousins, your aunties, uncles and friends who you rarely spend time with. I have to admit one thing here. My grandparents has 13 children and I have quite a number of cousins so supposedly it would make my Eid merrier but it wasn't. I am a shy person so it is hard for me to rekindle a relationship if I don't see this particular people often. I will feel like, other than asking them about their studies, there is nothing else I wanna talk about with them, like, I don't know my cousins anymore. I believe it has something to do with us growing up and becoming more adult so the craziness and the fondness that we used to have are kinda fading away.

Sometimes I say to myself, what do I have to do to gain the chemistry back. We are families and it's not okay to see your own cousins and relatives as strangers. It's sucks. I'm 22 years old and if I can't fix this situation now, imagine what would happen when we all got married. We will live thousand miles away from each other, do our own business and it will affect our relationship. I don't want it to happen and I pray to God that someday, I get back the happiness that I used to feel when I was a little kid.

:: Hitting Bazaar Ramadhan ::

Salam to all my readers.

Lets face it, who is going to be richer the moment Ramadhan draws the curtain down? The answer is the hawkers that responsible for giving you all sort of ready-to-eat food at the bazaar Ramadhan. Every year during this fasting season, people will be more fascinated about where the bazaar will be open up or is it gonna be big like last year or I hope the one who sold ayam percik last year will be selling it this year.

I'm not saying it's wrong to go to the bazaar or anything, it's one of the must-go places during Ramadhan, other than the masjid of course. The bazaar is the alternative way for people to look for their juadah berbuka if their mothers or their spouses are busy and unable to cook for the particular day. Everyone loves to go there, myself included BUT as for me, I go there ONLY if there is no source of food for me to break my fast. Like when I was studying in Seremban last two years, me and my friends often go to the bazaar only because we didn't have the tools for cooking and if we did have, we didn't know how to cook like our mothers do. So, the last resort was, going to the bazaar.

This year, I've got the chance to spend the whole Ramadhan at home and so far, it has been a bless. Been able to sit down and enjoy the meal during berbuka and bersahur with family is a moment you can't get anywhere else. One thing that I really admire about my mother is, she likes to cook for family and we don't have to go to the bazaar anymore since she can cook pretty much everything that is being sell at the bazaar. Well, not all at once of course. My mother is the best! Love you mom! :)

:: I'm sorry Dad ::

Salam to all my readers.

Yesterday, me and my family had a dinner together. It's been a while actually since the last we ate dinner as a whole family. My mom usually didn't take her dinner. She likes to watch us eating her well-cooked meals. That satisfies her I guess. My sister on the other hand, is on a diet program. Well, at least that what I had been told. So, it was great for us to sit down and enjoy the meals while catching up with each other thing.

I was enjoying my mom's Ayam Masak Paprik when suddenly my dad asked me about my result. I didn't remember who'd brought that up but since he asked, I told him everything. I was so disappointed with my result, so did my father. I made excuses, telling him how I'd struggled with chemistry, the lab math and it might have something to do with luck. Then my dad said something that made me feel something inside.

He said, it's not about the luck or the cruciality of a subject that caused my result to go plummet. Instead, he believed that I had lost my focus and to see what exactly that I am suppose to do, but he kept accentuating on the focus thing. And then I said, maybe I am not clever enough to digest all the information given by my lecturer finely and he kinda snapped at the words. He said, he believes in me, he believes that I can do it and he also believes that his sons and daughters are all clever and it's not about I'm clever or not. Again, the focus thing reappeared.

If my dad believes in me, who am I to doubt that? I am so sorry that I didn't live up to his expectation and trust me dad, it's not my intention to doubt my own self and to make me look like I haven't learn anything at college. I promised him that I will try my best next semester and he even challenged me to get a DA and I don't know if he kiddingly say this but it seems I will be no longer taking pictures using my camera phone. Hehe. The reward for me if I were to get a DA next semester is a DSLR! Wow!

Oh God, please, help me to stay focus! This is a big deal and it really excites me. My new mission next semester: get a DA and it will lead to my dad buying me a DSLR. Haha. Until then guys, ciao!

:: The journey to employment ::

Salam to all my readers.

Tomorrow is June 11th, marked the 30 days I am home, doing nothing but stuffing my stomach with food and getting my so-called perfect body shape into a plump. Seriously, I could die anytime, boredom is gonna kill me anytime. My dad said it is okay for me to stay home unemployed BUT I have to help my mom do the chores. Picking up my brother from school is a must-do job.

I had been to several places, asking for job. I'd been to clinics, pharmacies, KFC outlet even had an interview at Lavino Furniture store here but none of them have given their answers yet. I wonder if they don't want me but they try to be nice by saying, "We'll call you as soon as we've come up with the decision,". Oh oh, the best part was, I went to the PPD and got interviewed for the substitute teacher post and my field of teaching is English. The officer who interviewed me said that I might be getting the job if there is any vacancy coz majority of people who sent their resumes doesn't have gut to teach English subject. I was extremely excited that I couldn't wait to tell my mom and my dad about this.

But, up till now, I am still unemployed. Maybe there is no vacancy at any school in Tanah Merah. The reason why I really need a job during the 4 months holiday is because I need money. I have planned a vacation to Penang this July and I'm gonna go there alone and stay at my friend's place so, that's really a reason why I need money. And if you think the vacation is not necessary, well think twice, because the finale installment of Harry Potter will be out in mid-July and I have to watch it. I can't imagine myself not watching it in theater. Seriously, Kelantan should get itself a cinema so TGV or GSC, please double up your work on establishing a cinema here.

I think this should be sufficient for an entry. I couldn't think of anything else to be written here. Oh, I'm gonna keep my finger crossed so that I'm gonna get a job soon and guys, please, pray for my future. Or I can't go to Penang. Haha. Until then, ciao!

:: The twins attack! ::

Salam to all my readers.

Ya know, I always like the idea of having a twins in my family. Seriously I do. Whenever I see twins I will go like, "This is a must-have item after I got married.". Haha. Twins are not like any ordinary people. Apart from the fact that they are twins, they tend to attract a lot of attention from the public, especially if the twins wear something similar and many eyes will fascinatingly rest on them.

I have heard stories, most of them inspiring, from the people who got a chance in life to raise twins and it is easy to assume that they had a true joy experiences in raising them. So, the question is, why is this twin people exist? From what I have learned in school, identical twins or known as monozygotic, form from a single fertilized egg and splits into two parts, resulting in the development of two embryos. Because of the two embryos come from a single egg/sperm fertilization, they have the same genetic origin. There is no authentic solid reason why the egg split into two, maybe it's a malfunction of the normal development process. To know more, go check your biology textbook.

If my wife pregnant and I have a 'choose' button whether you want identical twins or non-identical twins, I definitely go for identical twins. The number one reason why I want twins is because I want them to look alike. Non-identical twins is similar to any ordinary children, except for you will not be having children that share the same age. What's the point of wanting a twins if you don't want them to be identical right? I will buy them the same cloth, the same toys, damn, it's gonna be interesting! Hehehe.

~ Amanda and Michelle : the first ever twins made it to ANTM ~

~ Dylan and Cole Sprouse, who play Zack and Cody Martin in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody ~

Okay, I may like a twins-maniac here but don't get me wrong guys. I am not gonna hate my single-birth children just because my wish to have twins is not granted. I will love them equally. Haha. But hey, according to this article that I read, there is no established connection between genetics and monozygotic twinning. Scientists have not really found and confirmed clear cause for monozygotic twinning, which you already knew how it is occurred inside of the women's womb. All parents have a reasonably equal chance of getting identical twins. Now, that's a great news to hear! :P

p/s : may Allah push away all the complications if I were to get a twins babies. Hehe

:: Rabbit Fun Land ::

Salam to all my readers.

Okay, as you know, today is the first day of Chinese New Year celebration of rabbit year. Speaking of rabbit, I'm pretty sure some of you have this cute fluffy animal as a pet, or might want to get one as this year is a rabbit year. We love seeing them running here and about, we love feeding them, we love patting them but how well do we know about rabbits?

I'm not gonna talk about rabbit facts or anything but if you are a fan of rabbits, it might interest you that there is a rabbit farm, called Rabbit Fun Land, located at Brogal Hill, Semenyih, Selangor. I haven't been there yet but from what I know, this farm is opened for public to come and visit the rabbits being exhibits there on weekends. This farm is not open just for people to see, but you also can purchase the rabbits here and bring home as a pet. One interesting fact about this farm is, the rabbits here are caged according to its age and if you're lucky, you can see the baby rabbits or kits, right after they were born.

~ the big cheerful signboard is ready to welcome you ~

~ you can feed them rabbits ~

~ isn't this a great way to have fun with the rabbits?? :) ~

This place is an ideal place for you rabbit lovers to come and play as they also offer hands-on, guided tours to you. The guide will tell you more about the rabbits as well as presenting a live demonstration of their matting process. Here they have this open area where rabbits are free and out of their cages and this is where people come to see them running freely on the ground. You can feed them, pat them and even cuddle them. And after a long day playing with them, you can stop by at a restaurant here and taste for yourself the rabbit meat. I don't know whether they still have it now but people say you can order Satay Rabbit and other kinds of dishes made from rabbit meats.

But hey, if I were they, I'm not gonna eat rabbit. I mean it's like cats. You play with them and suddenly you want to taste their meat like there's no other meat in this world. It's not wrong to give it a try but how could you eat rabbit and then have them as a pet at home? Maybe after that you go to them and say, 'I already taste your meat. It's delicious'. Urghh, I'll pass this one. Anyway, just come here on weekends if you wanna have a great experience with rabbits. I'm Judiene Marno, wishing you all a happy Chinese New Year, 'Xinnian Kuaile'.

Until then, ciao.

:: 'thanksgiving' feast ::

Salam to all my readers.

Okay, seriously, I don't have anything in mind right now but somehow I feel like I should write something.

Actually, I just finished helping my mom preparing dishes for tomorrow event. Oh, didn't I tell you about that?? Well, my younger sister had made my parents proud as she passed her PMR with flying colours. She got straight As. So, my mom decided to organize a small party, well, it's not really a party, more like 'kenduri kesyukuran' or 'thanksgiving' feast I suppose but in a small scale. Only families are invited.

My mom has prepared Laksa Penang (the best laksa penang in town coz she's originally from Penang, hehe), Laksa Kelantan, Batik Cake, pudding and another dish that I don't even know what the name is coz it's made in Kelantan. I'm supposedly to go to bed early, got to accompany my mom to 'pasar borong' tomorrow morning. Talk about being 'anak yang soleh'. Hehe. Instead of doing so, here I am, still sitting in front of my laptop trying to finish the entry for you guys to read. See, how appreciate I am towards my rabid readers.

Oh yeah, tomorrow night is gonna be the last night I sleep on my comfy bed coz I'll be hitting the road again and my destiny should be Puncak Alam. Urghh, I'm not ready to face another semester with assignments and stuff. My heart is still attached to holidays. I wish I could freeze time. Yeah, got to do what I got to do. But I can sense happy and nervous somewhere in the not-ready mode. Maybe because I've got lot of responsibilities on my shoulders that I need to carry out sincerely and the biggest highlight will be the annual dinner, which I'm the event director of the event. Scary.

So, I think I'm gonna sign off now. It's getting late. Until then, ciao!

p/s: Writing this entry while listening to Leon Jackson singing 'A Song For You'. Its easy flowing rhythm kinda swing my feeling. Beautiful.

:: a 'bloody' tragedy ::

Salam to all my readers.

Today is the start of a new day in a new year according to Islamic calendar. Whether it's new year or not, my resolution is still the same - want to get good result in whatever I do. Haha. Cliche? Naahh, who cares.

Actually I wanna share with you guys about a tragedy that had happened here in my house. Early in the morning, after eating my breakfast, I sat comfortably on the couch, watching Downsize Me which is aired on TLC Channel. The window that lead straight to my porch and my veranda was widely opened and I easily could see people go in and out of my house.

Suddenly, there was a boy went up to my veranda and sat on the couch there. I didn't realize him at first, until my mom called me and asked me to get rid of the boy coz he seemed clueless and not in his right mind. His shirt was covered with dirt and when I asked him what he was doing here, he simply replied "Ahh, nak tumpang duduk je, takkan tak boleh.". I was like, okay, this is not a public property for you to come in and sit. Then I swished him away, only to realize that he had stolen my mom's money, which was in my mom's purse on the table near the door.

I don't know where he get the gut to sneak into my house and the fact that he stole the money without me and my mom noticing was brilliant. He must be using some kind of magic I think. He was quick indeed. After talking to the neighbours, then only we knew that the boy is actually a girl. She lives not so far from my neighbourhood and always saw by the people wandering around, looking for a house to sneak into perhaps.

It's quite dangerous to think that people is losing their integrity and mind nowadays. The thief is merely a girl, but his action is like a pro. I don't know if there's any case involving the boy, opss, i mean, the girl been reported before but honestly, I swear if I ever found her, I'll cut her hands in pieces, so that she cannot steal anymore. Hahaha. How cruel! So guys, please be careful after this, okay. Until then, ciao!

:: more cookies coming up ::

Salam to all my readers

i thought i can spend my days at home without doing nothing. instead, my mom made me work during the day. but i'm not complaining. in fact i love the job. making kuih raya is one of the must have activity during Ramadhan. my raya will be meaningless without home-made kuih raya.take a look at the pics below.

~ me working out the dough ;P ~

i'm proudly can say that the cookies are tasty and it fits our expectations. 4 stars. haha. usually my mom's friends (read: people all around Tanah Merah ;P) will order a few type of cookies like almond london, chocolate moist cake and tart nenas but my mom take a different way of getting extra money this year - sewing curtains! according to her, sewing is more profitable than making cookies but as profitable as it seems, sewing is more energy demanding.

so guys, hope you enjoy making cookies at your home and appreciate this time as we seldom got a chance to sit and do activity together with our siblings.

:: i'm home! ::

Salam to all my readers

alhamdulillah, after experiencing some difficulties regarding ticket and buses, i'm finally home! can't really describe the feeling. my bus were late so i ended up arrived at Tanah Merah around 8.30 instead 0f 5.30 or 6 am. from the differences you can imagine how slow our bus is.

i just arrived less than 5 minutes when my mom suddenly asked me and my sister if we want to go shopping today. i was like, hellooo, we're your children so anything got to do with shopping you just count us in! haha. so we went home, got freshen up then headed to Kota Bharu.

although it is a week before Hari Raya, Kelantan is already packed with vehicles. buses and cars are everywhere. and imagine how crowded the car park is when we reached at KB Mall. after spending nearly 5 hours there (i forgot that i was fasting today coz i feel so energetic ;P), i ended up buying 4 stuffs. and the coolest out of four is a sling bag. i really like this bag that i forgot i should buy a pair of snicker first, coz the old one is already torn apart.

right now, i'm typing this entry while sniffing the smell of cempedak goreng my mom is making specially for me and my sister. until then..

:: Changeling ::

Salam to all my readers

i just watched Changeling on HBO. yeah, i know, it's pretty late. the movie was released on 2008 but only now i get to see it. why? bcoz it didn't looks like a good movie. although they have Angelina Jolie in it, but that didn't seem to attract me. but i gotta say, it all changed after watching it. guess don't judge a book by its cover really works this time.

for those who didn't know, Changeling is based on a true story back on 1928, in Wineville, California. more info regarding the incident called Wineville Chicken Coop Murders, just click here. honestly, when kids or children involved in a murder, i don't think none of us can stand read about it, or even hear about it.

Changeling is a drama film based on real life events in 1928 Los Angeles, the film stars Angelina Jolie as a woman who is reunited with her missing son—only to realize he is an impostor. She confronts the city authorities, who vilify her as an unfit mother and brand her delusional. The dramatized incident was connected to the Wineville Chicken Coop kidnapping and murder case. Changeling explores female disempowerment, political corruption, child endangerment and the repercussions of violence.

to me, this movie has everything; a terrific story based on true events, outstanding acting from everyone of the cast, excitement, tears, blood and it holds you tight until the end. Angelina's character is terrific and she fights, what seems to be at first a lost fight, for her son in a world controlled by men. You learn to hate some characters in the movie and love others. You learn to feel for Angelina's character and hope the movie ends well. Changeling will make you cry. well, i did!

after watching it, i asked myself. if the same thing happen to us, will us be as strong as Christine Collins?? will us fight for justice?? or remain silence and let the political corruption takes our life?? she was just an amazing woman.

:: the secret life of bees ::

Salam to all my reader

i just finish watched a movie entitled 'The Secret Life of Bees', directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood on 2008. Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys are among who stars in the movie. well i'm not gonna write the synopsis here coz 2 pages or 3 won't be enough. wanna read more about the movie just click here.

what i really love about this movie is bcoz they got Queen Latifah in it. i enjoy watching her comedy character in all previous movies of her like Mad Money, Beauty Shop, Bringing Down The House, Valentine's Day and other box-office movies but not in this movie. she played a different character in this one, a soulful and motherly character.

it's good to see a movie which bring up a theme of family love and love to people regardless of the skin color and what race you are. Dakota Fanning plays a white girl, raised up by the black women, who used to be her mother's nanny when she was a little kid. she runs away from her abusive father and follows her nanny, Jennifer Hudson, and together they go to a small town where they meet this loving and caring family comprises of Latifah, Alicia Keys and Sophie Okenedo. the movie is set in small town of South Carolina, in 1964.

the love theme is very touching to me. i mean the love among family members is what people are lacking nowadays. people don't really see this as a important thing thus they take it for granted. all they can think of is they got someone who love them, who is not from their family and it's enough. no, it's not enough. if your lover ditch you one day, who would you turn to if not your family? you guys should see the movie to see what i'm getting into.

oh btw, i suggest you guys to listen to these song. Save Me and Yesterday, both from Toni Braxton. kinda love the melody. these are brand new songs from Toni Braxton, who became famous with Un-break My Heart. and also songs from Charice called In Love So Deep, Nothing, Note To God and Pyramid. oh oh, Broken-Hearted Girl from Beyonce. ok, all checked, nothing miss. =)

:: closing ceremony of the holiday ::

Salam to all my reader

ok, this time, no video. why? coz aku penat nak tunggu upload video lembap cm siput babi tua yg cacat. bayangkan betapa lembapnye siput babi tu selembap line tenet kt sini. so, instead of posting a vlog, i change it into regular post.

ok, i'm gonna skip about the new year thing. da byk sgt kot blog yg tulis psl neh. as you all know, school holiday is gonna end. so, anak-anak and cucu-cucu arwah Tok Wan Daud had come up with an idea - bbq at the house. this event took place yesterday, at the house porch. all of us, bapak-bapak, ibu-ibu (da cm lagu inul la plak!) dan anak-anak berkumpul kat umah Tok Wan as early as 2 pm. acara bbq ni start lps asar. sebanyak 6 ekor ayam, 10 ekor ikan dan satu paha kambing telah selamat dicicah sos bbq.

actually 19hb Dec baru-baru ni, we already had a vacation together at Pasir Puteh. the activity there was the same as today, which is bbq. but who cares coz the feeling of being together and seeing each other faces are what really matter. although i'm not very close to my cousins (well, some of them) but i had a great time and enjoy being with them. but unfortunately, i didn't get the chance to capture those moments. huhu. bcoz of that, i chose pictures when we was at Pasir Puteh to be uploaded.

p/s ~ aku xtaw nape, mse aku upload pic neh, takbleh nak stop. asyik upload je. sb tu pic byk sket utk entry neh. erkk! ;P

:: Aidil Adha Edition ::

Salam to all my readers

this is my first entry since Hari Raya. takde mood nk hapdate blog. huhu. mabuk daging lembu mungkin. sejak beberapa hari ni, daging lembu jd santapan aku. daging kicap la, daging masak tumis, daging goreng, masak nasi goreng pn letak daging blambak2. well, Hari Raya Aidil Adha kali ni lbh meriah drp thn lps. maybe ayah aku buat korban, so, terisi la gak hari raya aku. selebihnya luangkan masa ngn adik beradik dan sepupu sepapat.

skrg ni demam New Moon plak. mana2 blog aku tgk, ada je pic separa bogel si Taylor Lautner tuh, jd santapan para gadis sekalian. well, tak bleh salahkan dowg gak, hahaha, i mean me myself get so jealous tgk badan mantap Taylor, pdhal umur sama baya ngn aku je. suke gak tgk muka childish Kristen Stewart. huhu. soooo damn cute. aku tak dpt tk lg, harap2 sempat la aku tgk nnt. ok2, enough of this twilight saga.

so, raya hari tu, se'ramai' 3 ekor lembu berjaya ditumbangkan. dgn segala tenaga kerja pnduduk kampung (ada antaranya aku tak kenal), kerja2 penyembelihan berjalan dgn lancar. hepi gler sbb tgk ramai btol yg dtg bg sokongan kt ktowg. yg tak bestnye, dalam ramai2 tu, most of them are not my relatives. dowg join venture sekali sembelih lembu. raya kali ni atok aku dah takde, so anak2 dia pecah2 la wat korban. sorg kt sini, sorg kt sana. that's why la tak dpt sekali. but at the end of the day, umah nenek aku penuh dgn daging korban. hahaha. da bau cam tmpt jual daging dah.

~ pic @ hari raya ~

raya thn ni ada sepupu aku yg tak blk. cuti kjap, dowg plak bz ngn spm la, exam apekebende la. adik aku pn 3 hari je cuti. tu yg hari ahad ari2 pgi anta dia kt Kuala Pilah. otw blk Kelantan on the same day tu, masyaAllah, aku rasa ni la kejadian paling byk kete yg kuar dari Pantai Timur pulang ke umah masing2. sepanjang perjalanan aku, tak putus2 kete. aku sampai Kelantan dlm pukul 12 tgh mlm still ada lg kete. panjang gler. kalo kowg g stesen minyak, mmh lmbt la nk bleh isi minyak tuh coz dah mcm semut urung gula da aku tgk. bsusun kt stesen minyak tuh.

moment yg plg best psl raya haji ni bg aku, adalah raya haji thn, ermm, aku tak ingt la, tp rasa2nye antara thn 2004-2005. sbb ape?? sbb, raya haji thn tersebut aku still rapat ngn sepupu2 aku dan atok aku wat korban lembu kt umah. so, berhimpun la sume sedare, yg jauh, yg dkt, sume dtg la tlg melapah lembu. aku time tu tak bape reti lg so just tlg potong2 daging dan tlg yg kecik2 jela. rasa best dan kadang2 sayu pn ada ingt time2 dulu. bila masa da berubah ni, manusia pn berubah gak. tak dpt ckp la perubahan tu membawa kebaikan atau keburukan tp apa yg au tgk, aku kurang suka dgn perubahan tu. hmmm...

:: another day in 'paradise' ::

Salam to all my readers

it feels like i'm in winter season right now, with raining all day, the wind. make me feel sleepy all the time coz there's not much i can do, except for sitting in front of my lappy, checking my facebook, reading my friends' blog and finally sleeping. dah 2 minggu aku kat umah. basically doing nothing. mak aku suh cari keje, ade gak pgi cari. tp, sampai sekarang belum ada satu kedai pn yang call aku balik. so, i assume they are not gonna hire me.

bosan betol la. nak tgk wayang, kat Kelantan takde pawagam. satu benda yang hampeh bagi seorang kaki wayang spt aku (kaki wayang ke?? hehe). takkan kena turun Kuantan kot kalo nk tgk wayang. gile ke hape. nk donlod cter, cuaca hujan cni, slow la tenet aku. asyik dc aje. cm bangang aje. semalam dah taktaw nk watpe, layan la cter hindustan kt TV2, Hum Tum. cter ni aku dah berpuluh-puluh kali aku tgk, tp sebab jalan cter dan pelakon dia best, so aku layan jela. Saif Ali Khan dgn Rani Mukherjee tu. sape yang tak minat dowg kn (yes, i'm a big fan of bollywood movie, nape? tak percaye??).

malam tu, otw nk g makan, ade sorg pakcik tua ni lalu lalang dpn umah aku. aku tak kenal. tp bapak aku ckp owg tak bape btol tu. jiran2 pn tak suke. hari2 dtg dari umah ke umah minta keje. kalo yg baik sgt2 hati tu, upah la pakcik tu basuh kete ke, potong rumput ke. masa nk pgi makan tu, pintu pagar, grill sume kunci, haha, takut2 pakcik tu masuk umah. then pagi td, pakcik tu dtg lg umah aku. time tu aku tgh kusyuk bce paper Bintang Popular. kebetulan ayah aku bukak pintu, nampak pakcik tua tu, ape lg, hangin r bapak aku. dia tengking pakcik tu, kte xpyh dtg sini lg.

kalo bapak aku takde td, aku amek alih tmpt dia. haha. kasi marah sket itu pakcik. cam tak reti base. org tak btol, mane nk reti base. curiga btol aku tgk pakcik tu. bukan ape, org mcm tu, kadang2 jgn buat baik sgt. dah la tak kenal. taw2 nnt pecah masuk umah org plak. kalo hilang barang ok lg, takut2 nnt bunuh membunuh plak. lgpn skrg kn byk kes2 pecah masuk, bunuh dan rogol2 neh. haishhh judiene. too much thinking. haha. but it's ok la, prepare for trouble kan.

ntah bila hujan ni bk benti. plan gathering ngn member2 lama pn kena postpone. ckp psl member lama, i feel bad you know writing about my friend on my previous entry. i was angry and mad when i wrote it. i mean, i'm not supposed publicly publish the story about his wrongdoings. but it's too late already. cannot delete the entry la (although i know hoe to do so :p). moral value to all of you, never do that to your friend ok. seriously i mean it. it's not nice and people will think that you're selfish and have a bad attitude towards your friend. please change or you might end up losing friends.

:: i witnessed a miracle! ::

Salam to all my readers

aku sebenar-benarnye mls lg nk hapdate blog psl raya neh. coz cm cliche kn, mne2 blog aku bce mst story psl raya dowg la, kuih2 raya la tp ade someone ckp kt aku, blog psl life seseorang lg fun and sedap dibace drp blog yg jns informative neh. kalo nk information bek bce buku ke, bkak yahoo ke, ape ke kn
heheheee, pnjm kata2 dia sket.. so, ok la, aku hapdate la sket psl raya aku, but first, i wanna start with this entry. i wanna share with u guys, about an incident where i was surprised and it made me wonder a while. i was like, "OMG! i just witnessed a miracle!"
kerja Allah, maybe bg kowg bnda ni nothing much to talk about la kn tp bg aku, suda ckp utk aku rse insaf sekejap and sayu mengenangknnye (bodo kn insaf sekejap! :p)

the incident happened on the first day of my raya, time tu aku and family and sdare2 sume melawat kubur arwah Tok We aku yg meninggal baru2 ni

at first, xde sape lg yg pasan psl kejadian Tuhan yg Maha Berkuasa ni, sehinggalah ayah aku tegur adik dia,

Ayah aku : eh, daun nyo ni hidop lg deh. ado sapo2 cuci doh ko kubur ni?

Adik dia : xdop lg rso. pelik ugop deh, hijau lg daun ni supo nge hok tane bru neh

Ayah aku : kalu nk ikut la, daun sajo xleh hidop kalu xdop akar dio

~ sekadar gambar hiasan ~

time ni sume mata tgk pelepah kelapa yg ditanam di kedua2 batu nisan Tok We
still menghijau tanpa adde tanda2 nk layu
pelepah kelapa tu mmg kelihatan sama mse tanam dlu
kalo nk kre2, dah 2 bulan Tok We aku meninggal, sepatutnye pelepah kelapa tuh da reput
subhanallah...
kejadian Tuhan..

blk drp kubur tuh, pak cik aku cte la kt aku n sepupu aku sorg ni
sume yg berlaku tu menunjukkan keadaan Tok We aku skrg
mmg Tok We seorang yg mementingkan hal2 agama neh, dan dia selalu solat kt masjid, jarang2 sgt tgk dia solat kt rumah
mcm2 andaian and teori kuar dr pale otak aku neh, tp rsenye btol la ape yg pakcik aku ckpkn tuh
harap2nye roh Tok We aku ditempatkn dikalangan org2 yg beriman dan beramal soleh
it's a miracle to me...

p/s ~ more about my raya celebration will be posted soon... stay tuned! :)

:: the first Raya without him.. :'( ::

Salam to all my readers

bru td aku n my fb fren talked about Hari Raya which we'll celebrate it dlm masa semggu lbey kurang
we talked about how great that day is, u know, Hari Raya, and how we celebrate it with smilling faces and kutip duit raya
hahahahaaa
and then he said something about his grandad preparing food for Hari Raya, that was when i suddenly think of my late grandad
i paused as i couldn't continue the conversation, i dunno

we still missing Tok We
yup, i called him Tok We, it's Tok Wan actually tp kt 'We' is a Kelantan slang for 'Wan'
phm x korg??
walaunpun aku jarang beraya kt kelantan on the first day of Raya, but its defferent this time coz i will never ever see him again
my grandad passed away 3 weeks before Ramadhan approach
so Ramadhan bg my grandmum n her kids this year is not as happy as ever
usually, my grandad is the one who is bz preparing for the food as my grandmum da xberupaya nk masak
kalo time Raya plak, dia la yg beli barang2 mknan ke, coz when it comes to cooking the kelantanese dishes like kuah laksa kelantan and sup ekor, don ever count on his kids
that's his field of expertise

thinking back when he was alive, i become sad
as i'm growing older, i don't really spend much time with him although when i'm home
bcoz of his illness, he lost his voice and we hardly understand what he says
mlm2 after solat isyak, dia selalu gak dtg umah aku yg krg dari 500 meter jaraknye
i can remember his small box full with rokok daun
yes, that's his liking, used to smoke with my dad and uncle Joe
sometimes he will ask my dad to get him the tembakau, imported from Thailand
according to him, the tembakau from the place taste better than tembakau made in Malaysia
hahahaaa, dunno la, i never smoke rokok daun before, so, can't tell ya which taste better

walaupun dia xbekerja and sekadar harapkan duit pemberian anak2 dan duit pencen, me and my cousins still get the duit raya from him
last year, we got RM5 each hehehee
and that was the last time i ever received duit raya from him
aku still terkejut dan terasa dgn Tok We sbb dia pergi secara mengejut
seingt aku, the last day i was there, Tok We still as healthy as usuall, minus his voice la
and then, tup tup je aku dpt berita drp adik aku yg Tok We meninggal
seyes, physically, mmg dia xnmpk cm org skt lgsg
jln pn cpt, still do the chores kt kampung, selalu ke masjid
tu la rutin harian dia
tp, yela, ajal maut ni kte xbleh nk jgka, kalo da smpai tu, xde ape yg boleh tahan

and as i'm typing this entry
i think back
yes
this raya
it will be the first Raya without him....

:: akhirnya dia pergi jua.... ::

Salam to all my readers

firstly, Innalillah to my late grandpa, who passed away last monday
too bad i don't have his pic to be put in my blog
i dunno why but his death is so sudden
altho he's been diagnosed with, i dunno what his disease called but it has something to do with salur darah bengkak la, long time ago
my sis told me about this sad news when i went to her campus to get my phone
i was like "huh?really?why it happens so sudden.."
i'm blur

he's been diagnosed with this disease long time ago
since then, his voice hardly can be heard
he had a hard time trying to talk coz salur yg bengkak tu cm block kotak suara dia
whenever he had to say something, people will have to get closer to him
but still, he live his life like usual, like nothing happen to him
which make me feel pity

one thing about my grandpa that i admire is he was so popular (lOlz)
really
people at Tanah Merah know him very well coz according to ledeng, cehhh, my moyang ni cm one of the ancestor la kt Tanah Merah tu
cm ala2 wakil rakyat la
so people know him as well as his family, including my grandpa
no wonder there were so may crowd, attending his funeral
yes, seriously
bkn nk lagak or whateva, tp tu la org kte cre org beriman meninggal
bkn mati dlm keadaan gloomy ke or sorg2
i was so disapointed coz i didn't get the chance to go back to Kelantan
hmmmmmm...

p/s ~ al-fatihah...
